Resonance brings together three workshops exploring movement and sound as a site of imagination, resonance, pleasure, and transformation. Through sound, touch and movement participants will engage in playful and poetic tasks stemming from each artists’ own practice. Through new formal approaches, artists Marika Peura, Teo Ala-Ruona, and Miša Skalskis, each offer a distinct entry into embodied experimentation. At ICA London, 18.-20th July.

I will be joining a talk with Anne Naukkarinen and Olga Spyrosoulou about the A Book of Dances project at the Tekstifestivaali at Tekstintalo, Fri 24th of January 2025.

A Book of Dances is a collection of written choreographies by Finnish-based artists Anne Naukkarinen, Laura Cemin, Mikko Niemistö, Marika Peura, and Swedish-based artists BamBam Frost, Ofelia Jarl Ortega and Pontus Pettersson. Publishing event will be held at Helsinki Kunsthalle, November 11 2024 as part of the Moving in November Festival program.
